We got an email on October 30th with the simple subject "RMX" … Nothing to special, as we get those emails quite often since SoulForce released so many rmxes over the years. So i thought to myself: "Ok, a next, off key reggae remix that does not make sense" quick listen, a friendly email to the sender that we not really feeling it, on to the next one. BUT, pressing play on this attachment was TOTALLY different! Aloe Blacc`s "Red Velvet Seat" ok, good choice, but the way it is flipped, fucking unbelievable and GREAT!! I listened the song 3 times in a row and while pressing play the 4th time i started writing back to the sender, no name, no info, no nothing in the email he (or she) wrote us. So i thought to myself, ok let`s keep it simple and answered: "Oi, love the tune, it`s fucking GREAT!!! We would like to make it available to the people and have you guys or girls or in the SoulForce camp, cause this is by far the best thing we got in a long time, please let me know what u expect and give me some more information on your project "Ovadope" Thanks, Fizzle." 7 minutes later the answer: "hey fizzle, thanks for the answer, we just want to release it and would be very happy to be in the soulforce camp, let`s just do it. attached a second song. if you feel it do it too. cheers" My answer: "Ok! the second one is fire too, where u from ? Some infos ;-) " 4 minutes later the answer: "Let`s just do music, you release it, no infos needed." My answer: "ok, got it, let`s do it." That`s it basically, who needs more information if you got tunes like this. Sometimes it`s simple like this.
