hiiiiii babes, i was wondering if you could explain me a thing. is the australian school system like the one in the UK? cause i honestly dont have a clue how it works..
hi love! I'm not really sure myself really! hahaha, Schooling in Australia starts at prep (5/6 y.o) then goes through to year 6 in primary school.
Year 7 is the start of high school and high school finishes at year 12, we don't do A levels we have different things, in Victoria its VCE, in New South Wales its HSC and in Queensland I think its SSC or HSC! We have 4 terms in a year (like 10 weeks long each), with our summer holidays lasting for a bout 6-8 weeks in december through till the beginning of February :)) at the end of each term we get 2+ weeks break before the start of the new term...
I hope that sort of explained things?? I'm sorry if it didn't! hahaha xxx
