I turn the big ol ✨32✨ years young today. Here’s some midnight (really it’s 1 a.m.) ramblings about it):

32 feels like I'm standing in the middle of an open field.

Behind me are my 20's, which were full of uncertainty, a deeply rooted need to "prove myself" (literally to who though?) and a desire to fit the mold and "belong".

In front of me, I see roads and veering pathways filled with hope, with the strength and intention to continue to be and learn myself even in the face of the unknown; to be at home in my own skin. 32 is an age of refining.

Of carefully curating what stays in my life, and what I calmly say goodbye to. I no longer need every opportunity, every door to be open, or for every person to like me: Only the ones that make my soul feel safe.

I've been alive long enough now to understand how quickly a decade can pass me by, but l've also experienced the power of how much growth can occur within the span of one single year.

If my 20's were filled with uncertain waves, my 30's are the years I continue to master how to navigate through those waters and guide my ship to safe harbors.

So here's to 32, an age of no longer running from time, but embracing it. 🤍
