Great Notion Over Ripe IPA (Picked up at Windmill Farms). A 4 of 4. One of the more interesting tropical IPAs I've had in a while -- the mangosteen and hop profile combine to create a nose just bursting with varied tropical fruit and some candy-like citrus. The body is a pretty classic hazy IPA with some juicy sweetness and some pith-like bitterness towards the finish. Really interesting, unique profile.

When the world gives you over ripe bananas, make Banana Bread. The riper they are, the easier and better the banana bread.
Banana Bread
Effort: Simple
Serves: 7 slices
Ingredients:
265 g Self Raising Flour
40 g Plain Flour
1 tsp cinnamon
140 g Brown Sugar
1/2 cup Milk
2 Eggs
2 Banana
50 g melted Butter
Method:
Preheat oven to 180 degrees C.
In one bowl combine flours, cinnamon and sugar.
In another bowl combine milk, mashed bananas, whisked egg and melted butter.
Combine wet and dry ingredients and mix well.
Line bread tin with butter and baking paper and pour in mixture.
Bake for 50 mins.
To serve:
Cut a thick slice and toast. Spread with butter and enjoy with a coffee.
Note: To check if the bread is cooked throughout insert a skewer into the middle of the loaf. If the skewer comes out clean - it is cooked.
