22) what would make you blog someone ??
i wasn’t really sure what this question meant, but i think it might mean what makes me want to write a specific character ?? i have no idea, but i’m gonna go with that one anyway: i guess the answer, like the one before, is that i don’t really know. sometimes it’s a mix of the impact that character has on certain aspects of my life – for example, a part of me feels so comfortable writing alex because, like her, i didn’t really discover a lot about myself till in my 20s {{ 27, to be exact }} and i guess it helped normalise the way i view, not only myself, but the way i also look at the world as a whole, and alex kind of gave me that confidence boost that i kinda never allowed myself beforehand. that and chyler leigh. i’m weak for my hero. for the most part, though, it kinda depends on how much faith i have in my own writing ?? i’ve noticed that the muses i write lately are bigger than just their characters: alex is like the normalising of discovering who you are at an age where things are meant to be set in stone, nia is a transgender female with the message that who you are is more important than what people want to see, kara is like the embodiment of proof that no matter how much life gets twisted you can get back up and fight for what you want, and sam is a single mother determined to make the world better for her kid - they all have different things to teach me and help me understand, and i love the fact that no matter how deep i get into these characters, i will always be learning something new.
