In my pharmacology class we’re learning about drugs and their interations with receptors in the body. It’s honestly really fascinating, especially because my professor said the exam material is only on the slides, and not even what he says. That means I can just sit back and listen (I’m still of course taking notes haha)

Pathology class is one of the most fascinating things I’ve ever learnt! I mean I’ve always enjoyed learning about diseases, but I’m really excited to learn more. 

But even more so, my professor is really interesting! He’s funny, and quirky making class actually interesting rather then boring. What makes a class interesting for you guys? Mine is the actual material, then the way it’s taught.

As a general update I passed the audition yesterday so I get to play at the anatomy appreciation/thank you night in April!! I get the opportunity to perform with a violinist, pianist or even a vocalist which is so crazy!! I haven’t performed since high school which honestly felt really weird after 8 years of competitive band performing 😂

Apparently this is my sister’s favourite drawing I’ve done so far! I’m not sure about the iceberg in the background, but I do very much like the penguin (even if the colouring spread a bit too far down xD).

If you consider the quote, it makes total sense! Water freezes cause it gets too cold for it to remain liquid, but instead of holding it’s shape the way it was prior to freezing, the molecules move around to form unique and stunning structures. We get beautiful snowflakes, which have air pockets resulting in light fluffy snow! Also why igloos actually make sense - air pockets keep the igloo insulated.

I honestly can’t believe it’s the last week of January already??!? Where did the time go?!

I’m really enjoying all my classes, though the amount of readings required for my adolescent development class is a little strenuous. Hopefully I should find my balance soon!

I also just met with my anatomy professor about some courses to take next year with her, so I’m pretty excited about the future! Speaking of which, if I was to make anatomy worksheets what would you guys think? Yay or Nay?!

Today's the first day back at university, and honestly I'm so ready! While I definitely needed and enjoyed that break, I'm a nerd at heart and after the first week I was desperate to be back in class :D

I already had most of the supplies I needed, though I've ordered a new pencil case just cause my pen collection has increased since September last year. 

Are you excited for school? Or are you ready for spring break already! Did you enjoy your time off? Travel anywhere? I mostly spent time with high school friends and my family!
