Gojo Satoru is a paramedic. He’s used to adrenaline, bad coffee, and long shifts that end in silence. What he’s not used to is being shadowed by a photojournalist with sharp instincts, a quiet voice, and eyes that seem to see straight through him. Geto Suguru is a photographer. He documents disasters, writes feature pieces, and—for reasons he’s never explained—has a forty-second voicemail saved from an unknown number that he listens to more often than he should. Then he hears that voice again. In a viral video. In the rain. It’s him. They’ve never met, but something doesn’t line up. When Suguru gets assigned to write a piece on the mysterious people's hero, he isn't quite sure what to expect, but whatever this is, it’s not going to stay professional for long.
