Fabric moving with the human figure
As we walk, jump, twirl, strut and dance the clothes we wear move with us. In an animation workshop last semester I learnt about Follow-Through and Overlapping Action. This is where a secondary part of a primary object continues to move even when stopped due to the force of forward momentum. For Example, a model is a primary object and the flowy dress they're wearing is a secondary object. The model is walking on the catwalk and her dress is flowing behind her, the model suddenly stops but her dress takes an extra few seconds to come to a complete stop. Im interested in the idea of capturing this motion in my art.
