Tsunade found a way to have children for same-sex couples.
Mikoto desperately wanted to marry Kushina, ever since they were teenagers, wanting to have their little Uchiha-Uzumaki babies in their own house after the war.
Her hatred for the elders, for Konohagakure grew, once she learned that her and Kushina’s dreams, their plans, were wiped out of existence. She seethes under her fake smiles and polite bows, heartstrings pulled taut as they separated them, tying their hands for marriage for someone they don’t love. Fugaku and Minato shared their anger, the two males not accepting the fact the two women are arranged, wanting to find someone they truly love.
Mikoto’s respect dimmed, hating that she was deprived of fighting, knowing that she loves the feeling of being in the battlefield, instead locking her to be the perfect wife and matriarch for the uchiha clan. Although she gave birth in terrible circumstances, she cherished, adored and loved her son deeply, tucking Itachi’s delicate head under her chin.
Minato found a way once he was Hokage, placing the couple in a mission that would take two years, hopefully enough time to seek out Tsunade and bear a child of their own, hoping for the couple to at least have a child. Four years after Itachi, a newborn black-haired baby boy was born into the world, blood half of the Uchiha clan, and the Uzumaki clan.
Sasuke was cradled by Mikoto as they both near the village, reporting to have taken in a child of an Uchiha that was out of the village, taking it back to their clan. Kushina placed a seal on Sasuke’s back, hiding the obvious Uzumaki reserves, and the violent undertone of his eyes. His round cheeks weren’t seen as attributes, nor the fiery determination in Sasuke’s eyes when he turned older.
Minato and Kushina planned to make wills, dragging Fugaku and Mikoto in doing the same, making scrolls for their future. A seal was placed on a scroll, only to be opened by Sasuke’s chakra alone, hiding his heritage. Their chakra solidified their seals, their children given the guardianship to the other arranged couple if there were circumstances.
Minato and Kushina’s will were used two years later, Naruto adopted and taken under Fugaku and Mikoto’s care.A loud, energetic blond was seen with his two older brothers and cousin, even if there was a stark difference to their looks. (No one was able to notice the similar characteristics of Sasuke and Naruto, nor the similar Uzumaki genes showing through their pranks.)
Naruto was with Chouji and Shikamaru, when the massacre happens. Naruto just stumbling to Sasuke’s limp form on the street, mind delicate from the Tsukuyomi planted on him.
Cue Sasuke trying to comfort Naruto while containing his own grief, responsibility falling on his shoulders as the ‘last’ Uchiha, his duty of eliminating his older brother while protecting and raising Naruto.
Shikamaru helps him, along with Shino, Yamato-sensei guiding him throughout the way. Lee babysits while he trains and raises through the ranks, earning jounin and ANBU captain at the age of fifteen. He allows Naruto to go with Jiraiya, coming back after four years.
Tsunade makes him her apprentice, training him to be a medical ninja, at the age of sixteen, also granting him access to Mikoto’s will. He finds a scroll dedicated to him, which revealed the truth, confirming the fact that he is indeed one of the last Uzumaki’s alongside Naruto. Tsunade only sighs at his tear-stricken face, offering to explain more, because, she was the one who helped his mothers. He masters the Byakugou at nineteen, a dark blue diamond against his pale forehead.
