A day in the life... Sounds intriguing but trust me it's anything but. I highly doubt anyone's eyes but my own will ever read these words, so this blog is for me. Sort of an outlet for me to unload all of the million thoughts that cross my mind daily. Being a single mom at 34 wasn't exactly what I thought my life would be by now. I envisioned a happy marriage, a couple of kids, a beautiful home, and someone to build it all with. But as soon as the negative thoughts enter my mind, the positive thoughts are right behind them.. who am I to complain? When you break it all down I'm actually extremely blessed. Considering where I grew up my life could have taken a much more destructive path. My life may not look like I thought it would but it's a happy life. I have a beautiful, healthy son, his father loves him, provides for him. At some point little girls have to grow up & let go of the fairytale. I guess I'm still learning how to.
