October 31st

WHITSTABLE WHITSTABLE WHITSTABLE AAAAA!!!!!!!

Okay so first we had coffee at the Tudor Tea Rooms, one of Cushing's favourite restaurants which still exists and they had some things up to honour him as well!!! It was so sweet to see aaa

Then we walked over to Cushing's view, which is a beautiful little spot at the seaside where they also placed a bench Cushing donated to Whitstable!

And after that, we went to the local Whitstable museum, where they had an exhibition completely dedicated to Cushing and I fanboyed so hard here eeeeee!!!!! I took WAYYYYY too many photographs here to fit the 30 image limit so let me know if you guys would like to have the other pics and I'll upload those too. For now, I'm picking out the highlights!

They also sold some prints so I had to buy them of course. It's not every day you find Cushing merch so I had to seize the opportunity!

After this, we went to St. Alphege's Churchyard, where he was most likely buried (thanks again findagrave.com. The location of his grave is unknown though, as Cushing wanted it to remain anonymous). It was a beautiful little church and the cemetery was really peaceful. Rest in peace, sir.

All in all, an amazing day for a Cushing fan like me, I squeed. a lot. help.
