God is ever faithful, God is not keeping score, He loves you, and He longs to show you His love. Just let Him in. Let the Light in. He will heal you, He will restore you, just as He promised. Because He is keeping His promises. Go to Jesus. Every time. Go to Him. He longs to heal you with His love, He  longs to embrace you with His love. Because God is love. Never doubt Him, never trust the enemy. God is love, God is right there, and He is leading you where you need to be. Go to Him, let Him in. You’ll be surprised how quickly all that pain and worries will disappear. Let Him take those away from you, let Him in. Becaue He loves you. He loves you so so much. You are His treasusred possesion. God is love. Let love in.

Hydrangea

Words cannot describe the feeling I felt flying into Dubrovnik, Croatia. The trees were kissing the sky and the leather sea expanding for miles. I could not grasp in that moment, glued to the airplane window, that this would be my home for the next four months. The beauty was just as impressive from my birds eye view to walking on the limestone steps during orientation. 

Preparation to studying abroad flew by leading up to my departure on Thursday, September 7 from Logan. Saying my last goodbyes to Dad and Sandy, walking through security and finally boarding with Aer Lingus is when I truly let it sink in - I was leaving my small business school in Dudley, Massachusetts to fulfill my dream - I am studying abroad. I could not sleep on the flights Boston to Dublin to Dubrovnik out of sheer excitement. 

API Directors Ivana Bajurin and Nada Raic found API students (like myself) in good Balkan time. Greeted with a hug and kisses, I felt so welcomed. The two ladies dropped us off at our respective boy/girl apartments. In total, we are seven girls and three boys from the states. 

Orientation ran the gamut of walking tours, noting key places (i.e. pharmacy, grocery store, post office and so on), signing up for courses as well as registering with the Croatian police for our temporary residency cards. The first few days blurred.
