Some Notes on my TFOC Trio:
Ovidus is the oldest, being forged around 6.2 million years ago. Rattleroad is the second oldest, being forged a little before the start of the war. And Ramrage is the youngest, an MTO made during the war.
Ovidus, in a similar fashion to Tailgate actually, missed the entirety of the war. Ovidus was exiled off of Cybertron, to a remote planet. He was locked off from the rest of the universe and barely had enough energon to survive. He put himself into forced stasis to conserve energy until he could be found.
Rattleroad had a mentor who wasn’t that great. Their mentor’s partner took on a more parent-like role, but Rattleroad’s official mentor— not that great.
Ramrage never had much of a growing up period. She was thrown into the war, and from that, she had to quickly mature. While she fought loyalty for the Decepticons, she had the idea that she would much rather be a healer than a soldier.
Rattleroad and Ramrage have, over the course of the war, met each other on battlefield. The first few times were by chance, but they eventually started seeking each other out.
Their first meeting— Rattleroad was down and wounded on the field, and Ramrage and her fellow soldiers were doing a sweep to look for survivors. Ramrage found Rattleroad before the others could. She covered Rattleroad in dirt and brush, so she could remain hidden from the other Decepticons, and then moved on her way. Rattleroad was not captured that day because of her.
Ramrage is a bit religious. She isn’t certain of a ‘Primus’ or a ‘Guiding Hand,’ but she believes that there is something out there. Something to believe in. Rattleroad, meanwhile, is completely disbelieving about religious thinks. ‘You believe what you want, but I don’t want or get it’ kind of thing.
Because of her tremors, Rattleroad doesn’t actually go on the battlefield often. She’s not supposed to go on field much at all actually, but she isn’t one to listen to that sort of thing. She’s made special weaponry to help stabilize her shakiness whenever it flares up.
Ramrage reads up on medical texts in her free time. The little box things on her legs— she stores medical supplies in there. She does the best she can, if no qualified medics are around. She’s earned an honorary medic title among her squadron.
Both Ramrage and Rattleroad have some issues sleeping. They both love waking up early in the mornings but…! Ramrage cannot stay asleep for long— 3-4 hours in, she’ll wake up for a few hours in the night. Rattleroad stays up for long hours in the night, tinkering and working. And yet they both expect to be up by 4-5 AM. Oh alas.
Ovidus, despite having written extensively on love, romance, and passion… has only has one lover— in his youth no less. I’d love for Ovidus to have a second shot at love someday, but as of now, he’s just the wingman for Rattleroad.
On that topic: After defeating from the Autobots and Decepticons respectively, Rattleroad and Ramrage discovered the planet on which Ovidus was exiled. Rattleroad wanted NOTHING to do with the 48 foot tall mech in stasis. Ramrage wanted to wake him and help. Seeing as Ovidus is alive now, I think it’s easy to guess that Rattleroad gave in. :^)
