Nah I have to say this why is Maximilien VA telling me a bedtime story!? Cause what the hell his voice is so smooth and it makes me want to curl up in a blanket and drink some tea as he tells me a story!

That's the smooth smoothest voice I have ever heard! Like excuse me Maximilien I didn't know it was a story time for me so excuse me while I make myself some tea while I fall asleep.

Well, this year's Overwatch Archives is a bit dissappointing without any lore and the most generic historic skins but at least I get to see my robot husband again with a new cute spray~

Your relationship is mutualistic. Like two animals trying to survive. Although for Maximilien, you suppose he doesn’t really need you to survive. He would find others to use. That’s the type of person he is; you’ve known that from the moment you first met. He’ll do anything to get what he wants, to stay ahead.

You needed financial support for your technological research, and Maximilien happened to find you of use to Talon. That’s what you told everyone. Truthfully, he most often finds you useful in other ways. It means nothing to you whether he actually likes you or not, because the advancements you will make for technology will last much longer than his fleeting desires will. If someone like Maximilien can even desire another person as more than an object...

Despite your conflicting feelings, you can’t help the swell to your ego when his hands are on you. The way other Talon members, usually so abrasive and condescending with you, will keep their distance. You’ve seen Maximilien make examples out of others for so much as looking at you wrong. A very dark and prideful part of your brain likes that about him, likes that he notices your worth and importance.

And you don’t dislike how handsy he is with you around powerful diplomats. People so obviously in Maximilien’s pocket they wouldn’t dare voice their discomfort with seeing an omnic so casually intimate with a subordinate. They should be uncomfortable being around someone so much more intelligent than them. You don’t make your distaste for politicians subtle.

But... Part of you also shies away from what Maximilien is clearly offering, even if you try to deny it most days.

He is not so forthright as to scare you away, but you know there’s more than lust and respect holding your tentative alliance together. Every expensive gift he’s ever given you sends a wave of nausea through your stomach. When no one is around and Maximilien still puts his arm around you, it makes you want to reel back from his hold. Never has anything baffled you more than your relationship with him. Never has anything scared you more than not knowing his intentions.

You wonder if romance is supposed to make you feel like your guts want to implode.

I really like Maximilien's character and I'm looking forward on how Blizzard will go on with him.
