Okay so this is my AO3 account, it's not the greatest account and honestly I made this account when I was in highschool at the time. But yeah here it is, it's not the best but I try. I'm semi-active on it but so far I'm writing overwatch and now focusing on dead plate. I've never linked my ao3 account before so please be nice about it I was a cringy teen writing stories ^^;
Okay so I saw a random YT video about Rumiko Shimada and honestly it caught my attention but something else caught my attention.
It was a comment talking about how Hanzo will never use his sword ever again, because it's a painful memory but as what Genji said. "But…Without it's Shimada Master, the dragon within will slumber forever"
But the comment that I saw stated a theory which was interesting of the idea of Rumiko taking Hanzo's sword and awaking his dragon!!! Meaning one of two things, One we get to see Hanzo's actual dragon and Two the idea of Rumiko wielding Hanzo's blade will cause some interesting conversation/lore.
Will that actually happen?
No, because I have my reason unless the devs do go that route the possibility of that happening isn't slim, which would me interesting, because the idea of Rumiko having a sword, let alone her eldest son's sword would cause some interesting tension.
Tension because mama came back and her son's have different opinions about her. Both miss her but Hanzo might feel resentment towards her while Genji will seek closure from her. Not to mention a interaction, between Kiriko and Rumiko meeting for the first time and Kiriko asking her the burning question as to why she left the Shimada clan in the first place.
But still the idea of Rumiko having Hanzo's sword will be a great angst potential.
And sadly enough I don't think so, but we'll have to wait an see, even though I'm happy that Rumiko has been mention, it's not enough for me, because I need to see her canon look and moreover her meeting Sojiro in the first place, because please I need her and Sojiro to be in love because Fall Of A Sparrow showed me that Sojiro is mourning her, he loved her.
Anyways, it's an interesting theory but again highly unlikely depending on whether or not Rumiko becomes a playable character in the game and for me she's be a support character through and through. But again we'll have to wait and see.

I find the way power inheritance works in the incredibles so interesting. It seems to be a combination of the parents powers and the actual temperament of the child in question.
Let's look at Parr children. Looking at Bob and Helen's powers and stats:
Looking at these stats it's safe to assume that their kids powers would be highly adaptable and fairly strong. Now let's look at the actual powers of the kids themselves.
Let's start with Dash since he's the easiest to relate back to his parents since superspeed, like super strength and elasticity, is a physical ability. Mainly Dash's power comes from Bob's physical enhancement + Helen's agility + Dash's rambunctiousness = superspeed.
Violet's power is ultraviolet light manipulation, she can control what is visible and can likely control the density of that light, making her forcefields. Her powers seem to be based around her temperament, her being fairly introverted by nature, but her power being the manipulation of a type of light does fit with the development she goes through in both movies. As for what her parents give her, Helen has seemingly given her the ability to shape light how she wants, right now that's Invisibility and forcefields but with training she could possibly do things with light that Helen does with her body. As for her Dad, her powers seem to have gotten his durability, they might even be more durable then him with, again, more training, considering as a child she was able to tank a couple blows from Syndromes robot. There's also the fact that Violet's power are very mental based, which is a tie into Bob's danger sense
Now on the surface, Jack-Jack seems to have multiple powers, but I don't think that's the case, I think his power is actually adaptability but since he's a toddler, his body and mind doesn't know how to reasonably react to outward stimuli so his powers react in the most extreme way. It's honestly such an interesting combination of Helen being a semi-polymorphic and Bob's danger sense. Though I will admit, I haven't consumed much incredibles content outside of the movies, so if something outside the movies disproves this then that's on me. Him having the power of adaptability makes the most sense to me.
Anyway those are my thoughts on the kids powers.

I assure you I and pretty sure no one was not thinking about the parr kids being hipper or at the very least cooler but god dammit, I wanna see the greys in Bob & Helen's hair showing that their not gonna stay young forever!!!
I wanna see Violet still being that awkward teenager, even when growing up, Dash is cocky because come on now we all know he's cocky, but Jack-Jack as a toddler will still be unpredictable because toddlers are also hard to gauge!!
But dammit it how did Brad Bird come with with that idea!?
Fuck the only redemption I have now is that this movie mentions the other supers in either a flashback or is just mention in the movie 😭🙏
As much as this pains me, I sorta understand where Brad Bird is coming from since I'm positive there were some "people" to put loosely, wanted the kids to be hipper & cooler. But seeing some lash back on the third movie might have a chance to redeem itself.
Hopefully because I won't forget when the internet voiced their opinion about the sonic movie because I remember seeing ugly sonic and they fixed it but also not to mention shrek as well, when everyone discovered how the plot would be with Shrek daughter wanting her freedom and so on and blah, blah, blah, they heard everyone and fixed it right away!
But seeing how Toy Story, HTTYD, Ice Age, Inside Out, and not to mentioned Shrek showed everyone aged up it shows them growing up, also sometimes you don't change that much as you get older, wiser yes but were still young at heart. (I have stuff animals and my old LPS toys which makes me happy reliving my childhood)
Hell I'm awkward, Shy and have social anxiety when I a kid and it reached all the way up till adulthood. Aging characters up isn't a bad thing it just depends who is going to write it, the writers can use their own experience as teens to young adults.
Again I do hope they'll age them up by at least one year but still at least show that Bob & Helen are getting old, crow peaks and silver strains of hair is needed.
If not...Well I don't even know what to say.
Hopefully it'll get fixed, hopefully. If not once again their only redeeming quality if they bring up the Glory Days that's fine. But who knows we'll probably have to wait and see.

So this came to me while I was going down the rabbit hole of rewatching some PSA videos I remember on the TV like the ones that can kill you or cause long lasting damages but then it got me thinkings...
Did any of the supers from the NSA do PSA videos of things that happen in day to day life?
I mean yes sure fine there were safe PSA one with that had to deal with Superman with smoking which would make sense because child friendly PSA, and the kids love Superheroes which would make sense for the Supers from the NSA.
Because kid friendly and all teaching them stranger danger, drugs,fire safety and so on.
Though it got me wondering on how many times they had to do a PSA depending on certain topics and which super is tasked to do what.
For Example:
Fironic & Blazestone: Firework, Smoking & Fire Safety PSA.
Plasmabolt,Splashdown & Stratogale: Environmental & Animal Protection PSA.
Mr. Incredible, Frozone & Elastigirl: Road Safety PSA.
Stormicide & Downburst: Substance abuse & chemicals PSA.
And it depends on the scare factor too. Which could range around from Low to Mild maybe leaning towards scary but it does get the messages across.
Also it could have been animated or Live action maybe a bit of both to get the message across.
I can go on but those are the ones that I can can remember because damn did those PSA work like a charm for me because one they did scare the ever living shit out of me.
But yeah I can go on and one about each PSA video and how each Super would correlate to the PSA they have to do but there's so many of them. And yet it got the job done but honestly this thought just came after seeing an old PSA video and I hate to write this down.

I do believe that Gazerbeam would do a "if you see something say something" PSA involving children,play safe and physical harm/abuse.
As Gamma Jack could be more in the range Assault, abuse and violence PSA videos of any kind.

We at least got some what of lore from her but damn her need for Mizuki is desperate, after all she's a narcissist but more over an abusive mother.
I'll probably dissect the video more but over all I'm glad we've got an insight as to what Shion looked like before all the modifications she did to herself.
