Okay so this is my AO3 account, it's not the greatest account and honestly I made this account when I was in highschool at the time. But yeah here it is, it's not the best but I try. My dumbass cannot for the life me see where everyone is getting this from but for now this expands my interest with Shion.
Turn out Shion is an Omnic, but a different type of Omnic which is very interesting, she plays on a more human like role. Which is sad but the theory of her being a Shimada servant will make sense. (Although I'm not sure if that would make any sense...but we'll have to see)
Although I saw something else which caught my attention because Shion does have very voluptuous figure, now rewatching her Trailer, it makes sense which makes me wonder if the Devs will REALLY go down that route!!!
But the idea of her being held captive and controlled doesn't always have to be the Shimada Clan but what if it was the previous Hashimoto Elder/Leader.
I mean if you think about it, her taking over the Hashimoto clan and killing the OG Hashimoto Elder makes sense...But we'll have to wait and see.
But seeing the expansion of omnics is getting interesting because they're reaching dangerous territory, but at the same time it'll give us and insight about how their are different omnics and some want to replicate the OG Aurora as well.
Again this is all speculation and theories here.
Edit: Unless she modifying herself to become more human!!! Which is very uncanny vibes oh Man JQ is going to freak because of how Omnics can customise themselves and maybe that's what Shion is doing!!!

Okay Hashimoto Shion...Let me dissect you for a few minutes because you intrigue me to the point i wonder what kind of hybrid you are of a cyborg/android.
Okay so I know this is early but Shion is turning me into Moira for a second because I'm curious about her. Here are the things' that I noticed can open her mouth but speaks with her...Voicebank/Box instead.
But I have one of two theories for her.
She's an Omnic with humanoid features.
She was a human but went full out Cybernetic enhancement.
It's one of the two.
If she's an omnic with humanoid features that's very impressive. But that also means Ramattra wouldn't like her because she's to much Human for her, facial features and all. Which is very interesting. Afterall she did called Sojourn. "Human" which caught my attention.
But if she's was once a person and got Cybernetic enhancements I know one theory as to why...Shion wanted to live forever.
Okay so think about it, I'm in my Moira mode.
Shion, modified herself to be more robotic-omnic like, give or take, it could be farfetch but the possibility isn't rare, it could be deep Cybernetic enhancement that changed her whole physical form! Not wanting to age and have someone take over would be an insult to the Hashimoto clan.
Not only that, the possibility of wanting to live forever and modifying her body to the point that I couldn't even tell what the hell she is! She's a cyborg of some-sorts. Maybe yes, Maybe no.
If you think about it carefully, the possibility for her being around Reinhardt age or Ana's is a possible with these enhancements if you think about it, being young, faster and not withering away all the while having power and fear to maintain is a rarity.
Fast, Nimble, Deady, you name it.
Shino is something that makes me tilt my head a little, she's not what I imagine I won't lie, since people were wondering if she's either similar to Genji or just an omnic.
Turns out, she a mixture of both to me personally.
Shion, is quite interesting which is why I used the words unique for her, because that's what she is to me, unique, there's something about her that I need to learn more, both of my theories could be wrong about her.
I know her trailer just came out and she already has my attention!!
What did she give Vendetta, moreover, why is she so crazy!?! Why is she very different from her subordinates, she's a puzzle piece I must crack.
But although I do have a HC....She was probably the one that killed Sojiro Shimada....
But if she's an omnic...Well then, she wanted more human annoyed features so that her subordinates could see her reactions, her anger, her uncanniness.
That is what she is to me, she's uncanny, neither human nor omnic, hell she might not even be a cyborg.
Only one way to find out when more information is dropped about her because again Shion is a puzzle piece I must solve one way or another.
So how many of y'all see the new Hashimoto character..."Elder" Shion!?!?
I'll have to admit...She's unique!!!!
