I have sent you many messages but you ignored them all. I was asking if you know something more about Sam's parents. Did his father leave the family to go with another woman? Hi, Anon, I've never gotten any messages like this from you. So, maybe you think you sent them to me, but I didn't receive them. I've gotten questions about Sam's family before and already answered them. Also, this info is very easy to search for on Google. It's all out there. But since you're asking and I have a few minutes today, here you go...

Sam's father, David Heughan left Sam, his older brother, Cirdan, and mother, Chrissie when Sam was 3 years old. They never saw him again until they had contact with him again when Sam was in is mid twenties. I don't know if he specifically left the family to be with another woman. From what we know, his parents were artsy and sort of hippies back in the day. I get the feeling the father wanted a more free lifestyle and left. But that is all speculation. At some point, his father moved to Canada and seems he was in another relationship there. So, yes, Sam had a stepmother. I don't think he has any half or step siblings. His mother, Chrissie lives in Edinburgh, she didn't remarry, but she did have a long term relationship with a man named, Owen Scott. Here is a family pic that includes him. This was for Sam's birthday, April 2015. It was taken in his old apartment in Glasgow. That's the first apartment he lived in when he started filming Outlander.
