In my experience looking up guides in Dark Souls is part of "gitting gud." It shows a desire for knowledge, and to understand. Knowing where to get the info you need is a gud skill.

It's a bad port, but it might actually be my favorite videogame. If you end up playing it, I really hope you like it.

Last time I tried playing it, on my previous laptop, I got through the tutorial to the point where a big digger machine showed up. Had low framerate the whole time. Then it crashed. It was pretty clear that laptop wasn’t gonna be able to run it. Interested to see how this one will stack up, especially with the mod you mentioned.

Looking stuff up is not a bitch move, it's necessary to survive. Please look stuff up. Look everything up. It's how literally everyone I know has gotten through any game in the Souls series. (It's also how you get to know where to find the cool stuff is, and what you need to do to have fun with it.) Look up stuff.

I recommend a controller for Nier. Also. You will probably need a mod for it so it can run better. The game normally DEMANDS to be pretty, and will tax your computer pretty hard. I had to use the mod menu to lower the graphics settings further than it would normally allow, and even then it still looked great. 10/10 game. The mod goes by the name "Special K" or sometimes called "Far"/"Fix Automata Resolution."

Always a good sign when you gotta install a mod on PC to get the game running properly.

I’m taking a class on the Digital Age

And for my project I have to make a (classroom appropriate) powerpoint slide on what tumblr is and how it contributes to the Digital Age and I just.... There are so many things I could say but shouldn’t for instance I want to say “Tumblr is known for its diverse infrastructure from blogs dedicated to everything from Social justice, history and art, to fictional relationships, porn and what the locals call ‘shitposting’. Most users have aspects of many of these things reflected in their blog and use it as a way to compare notes on everything from crises around the world to which ‘meme’ is the most ‘dank’. ” but that would probably be frowned upon by my teacher. Also under “source” is there a classy way to put “I’ve wasted years of my life in this terrifying and inescapable and also wonderful hellhole so I know what I’m talking about” I’m not actually asking this is all rhetorical. It’s just funnny to me to be looking at tumblr academically.
