Really?

 I don’t feel ready to become a nun right now but I think it’s something I’ll consider when I get a bit older. I want to be 100% sure. I’m not a very religious person but I do believe and pray to God. A few weeks ago, I went to church for the first time on my own and voluntarily, and I felt very much at peace. I’m sort of trying to get back to being a Catholic but it’s so hard due to my mix opinions about religion.

I spend a lot of time on my own, and a part of me wants to get away from the world. Also, I’m not interested in getting married or being with anyone, and although I’d love to have children, it won’t happen unless I get involved with someone. Now that I think about it, ever since I was a little girl I’ve thought of becoming a nun. I just won’t be able to use the internet anymore lol Probably be a good thing since I spend too much time on here.

There’s a lot of other things I want to do such as traveling, which is a lifelong dream of mine so we’ll see what happens. Hopefully I’ll be able to choose the right path.

So... life

I'm in my bunk on the ship, tucked into my sleeping bag listening to the drumming of the rain on the deck above me, tired as hell. But I realized how much has happened in the past year. Last year around this time I was a weird kid with a shitty fandom tumblr, then my good friend foxesandlightning (I love you Rae) showed me seashellies blog and I discovered that there were some cool people on this site. Through the course of this past year I have found what I believe in, decided what I want to do when I get out of school, and made some great friends. A good deal of those friends I met on here. empressselkie gave me a cool title and now we are ocean besties, owlalone is helping me learn Latin, irishgoatking understands my adhd problems with witchy stuff and religious things, saltbleachedbones and asoundlikebells have both been great to talk to. All of you are wonderful and I am truly thankful to have you all in my life as I go on. Tomorrow I'm going sailing, tonight I'm going to bed, and you are all so special to me.

15: Did any major life changes happen in the past year:     Yes actually, I discovered my spiritual path this past year (it is astonishing to think I have only been working with this pantheon for less than a year!) and decided that I want to go to grad school after college. Those are major life changes right???

16: Who’s the coolest person you met in 2014:     Literally all of my internet friends, because I met all of you this year. There are too many of you wonderful people to list all of you but my three greatest influences this year have been Vo, owlalone, and Michael. Vo is my oceany friend who even though we are almost a country apart, we are super close. Owlalone is teaching me latin. Michael convinced me to join Nova Roma. So ye they are pretty awesome people. 

20: what’s the greatest achievement you made this year:     I have literally no idea. I don’t think I have really achieved anything…

hmm, not so much! i think cause i see them first as puppies, which are not inherently tubes, and then it's also like they didn't evolve into that shape themselves; it was human intervention and it's honestly not the best for them/ their health

they are still sweet babbies though. this counts for corgi pups and munchkin cats as well

Although I had significant planning help from my dear friend, owlalone, I still only mustered about 400 words for my paper. At this point, this isn't going to help my grade at all, but it sure is going to hurt it. I also have lost the desire to care... It's just one class.

Spent my day reading a Latin textbook

And now speaking in English, reading, and typing are quite difficult. My brain is beginning to accept the complete overhaul and just become Latin. I am happy. Also, I have never wanted to read a textbook. Like just sit cross legged on my floor and read through a textbook. But that is what I fucking did today. And then my good friend owlalone assigned me homework. Also, never been so happy to get homework, and I fucking love my college classes and all of my homework for them, so this is like a huge deal. Never been this excited. 

I am also going to start slipping the Latin into everyday conversation and text posts.

(p.s. also i have spent the past oh...5 days watching Gladiator non-stop because I forgot how much I love that movie, so if I start saying "Strength and Honor" as a fair well message that would be why, don't fucking judge me)
