Inktober #3 - Owl
I’ve been introduced to The Owl House recently.
And yes, that was just my esay, yet very good excuse to talk about it :3
The clownery is too much 🤣
This is also her
Yeah misdirected salt ends up being a weird issue...I think maybe it's done in an attempt to "disown" Astruc and eliminate him from the discussion but like it's still the wrong conclusion to come to
*nodnod* As much as I dislike him, hes a very crucial part of the equation when discussing the show, so its quite confusing or frustrating to see otherwise.
I think the way the movie really worked with the "high fantasy with birds" aspect was great. Stuff like how the great tree has a pulley elevator system for chicks and Ezylryb's entire room in general. Much as I could go on about how the movie characterized Twi and Digger I loved Twi's lute it's just fun letting the owls have more musical instruments
oh gosh yes, the design of the tree was probably my favorite part. as a kid it was the best thing to see, it really captured the magic i felt as a kid when reading the books and then seeing the movie. it also kind of helped me picture the tree in a way that made sense for the massive amounts of owls supposedly living there, as before i really only had the imagery that it was a large normal sized tree lol.
i also agree w Twilight, i mean yes there is a LOT they took out of their characters lmao but i liked the idea of Twilight having an instrument for real- and additionally all the other more “advanced” tools and things they had at the tree. details like that kinda pulled together that high fantasy vibe a lot more.
I have to move in with my parents in Estonia to do my masters because the UCP has completely ruined the film industry and university film faculties in Alberta. Plus I just got a friendly email from student aid Alberta that my loan interest is beig increased. Given the chance to kick Jason Kenneys ass I would

What did you think of the Spyro reignited trilogy? Sorry if you've been asked this before ;; but I want to know if it would be worth it to buy them on switch or just look for the originals for our playstation
The Reignighted Trilogy was BRILLIANTLY done and probably one of the best remakes I’ve ever played.
It had all the feelings of the originals with a LOT of much needed quality of life updates.
Totally worth picking up in my opinion!
I have several mutuals who follow this blog (I'm nb bi myself so I'm not comfortable calling myself wlw) but from the recent Discourse I've seen it just proves that terfs have done irreparable damage to the lesbian community's public image. Physical attraction doesn't equal sexual attraction was (I assume) the point of your post but people are so scared of lesbians that alternatives have to be added and it sucks. I hope y'all are doing okay
the point is that many lesbians think that they are attracted to men only because they like some male characters/celebrities (on the account of being unattainable and “well of course im not into men around me, that’s totally just because all those i like are fictional or married actors”) and it’s often the one thing stopping them from embracing themselves
what the hell is the difference between physical and sexual attraction?? if you’re physically attracted to someone, then you’re sexually attracted to them. unless, again, it’s the kind of “attraction” that you have no way of acting upon
what do terfs have to do with any of this?? i know it’s easier to pretend that lesbians are doing all the damage to ourselves, because then you dont have to hold yourself and other non-lesbians accountable for misinterpreting common lesbian experiences and trying to redefine them into “actually, you totally want to be with men”, but that doesnt get you off the hook lol
