WIP - The Fire-Tree Bird (Bryan Scary) I've had this animation in my head for an eternity, and finally started putting it together! If I keep up with it, this is just the beginning of it, but I figured I'd post the first part anyways :]

Do you ever think about how fucked up it is that after Primrose failed to save her unhatched siblings during a wildfire she was forced to relive that trauma during the events of The Shattering when she and Eglantine took the Sacred Orb hostage and were forced to abandon it in the fire. Cause that's wild and idk how she managed to get over that one

On the other hand, I think its beautiful that she didn't need to save the orb to 'redeem' herself for that, if it makes sense? Bc in The Rescue, it's established that her parents in Glaumora have already forgiven her, that there's nothing to forgive and that she was just a hatchling herself at the time. It still must have hurt like hell to have to relive that, though.

updating my previous post about the jp ga'hoole maps since more of my books arrived today, and it looks like i was completely wrong in my earlier statement, as only some books after 3 have unique maps in them, not all (though i already suspected that the legends will have the same map on all three books).

books 4 and 5 have the same map that was also featured in book 3, and it's high likely that it's the standard map of the southern kingdoms as a whole

this is the map in book 6... as well as books 7 and 8 for some reason despite the events took place in the southern kingdoms and beyond the beyond

while this one is the map in the legends trilogy

still doesn't change the fact that they still look amazing, though !

the books i owned at this point are only up to book 10 so i can't say what are the maps in the later books after that. would the middle kingdom have a map, i wonder ?
