Oh you’re the person who drew the creature that was friend shaped! I loved it! Sadly I’m not sure how often I’ll talk about dinosaurs on here, since this is mainly an in character rp blog, but I would be happy to discuss dinosaurs ooc, or you can send me an ask with your favorite, because I honestly would love to know.

I was gonna make a new thing with prettier graphics but obviously a lot of things kinda put that on hold.

Ah yes sorry. I remember reading about mobility issues now. I’m nowhere near any expert on dog training that’s just a tactic I remember seeing watchin training videos. Hopefully you can find a trick that’s more accessable. I think any way that just makes jumping seem to ‘end the fun’ might help.

It’s okay! I appreciate the desire/attempt to help! It’s definitely a learning process trying to find what works when it comes to dog obedience since so much is predicated on ‘actually able to stand and/or move away from the dog’ lol

a tactic i’ve heard about is when they jump, if you can, turn abruptly away from them or if you’re sitting, stand up and turn your back.

unfortunately that isn’t really viable for someone chair bound nor for someone who walks with mobility aids half the time. Luckily though he’s been learning other stuff rather well just with voice commands  the only hitch is when my parents don’t bother to use the same ones which just confuses him lol He still struggles with ‘release’ sometimes but i’m confident he’ll learn to not hop on people. at least he knows sit so i can use that as a springboard.
