One good thing Shion is good at is making sure the house is neat, and tidy! Especially after awhile of cleaning up after a certain someone. However, with a new house, that is just still so empty- by Shion's standards of course, though maybe the house is just bigger than what he's accustomed to? Well, still, he would like to fill the living room, or his own room with some of his favourite books... Ah, right! The fridge could use some things in it as well, he wouldn't want the new family members to starve. He's a good cook... Well, no, he can at least follow directions, so maybe he can help make a nice welcome dinner for the others as a treat.
He dresses in his normal outfit, the same sweater, coat, and beanie he usually wears when going outside then makes his way to the main room of the house. At first glance, the white-haired boy notices a tall boy he hasn't met yet. He pauses, and freezes in the middle of the room to ponder for a moment. The only data he remembers... … … Akaashi Keiji, sixteen years old, and apparently... Er... His son? This is awkward even for Shion, who's sometimes the pinnacle of awkward, says other people; mostly due to being 'airheaded'.
Looking up at the male, he realizes how tall he is, especially compared to Shion. Shion definitely knew he wasn't short though! Mostly, for boys, their growth plates, and the soft colloidal tissue between the bones harden into cartilage later... This usually makes the adult men taller than most adult women, on average. Shion is sixteen, but normally boys are still growing at this age. However, in the fiftieth percentile sixteen year olds usually stand at 5 feet, and 7 inches- which is Shion's height! The other male just maybe had a luckier growth spurt? That must be it.
Er... Anyway, back to being focused on who's in the main room right now.
“Ah... Uhm...” He trips over what he wishes to say clumsily, with a slightly nervous smile on his features, “I was wondering if you can come into town with me? I thought it'd be nice to cook up a surprise for every one tonight. If that's alright with you.” Shion was usually someone who would do errands like shopping on his own, he didn't want to be that much of a burden and drag others along. However, he really wanted to get to know this guy.
