You know what’s interesting?

People used they/them pronouns for me until I was “doxxed” and the neo-Nazis who did it believed me to be a trans man and started using she/her to misgender me.

now suddenly everyone who was against me for one reason or another is using she/her to describe me.

I just think that’s very intriguing.

Owlvid is a narcissist. They are an abuser. They purposefully instigate fights with people. People that they know are putting their friends in danger. For the lols. They do not care about you. You are fodder to their amusement.

I couldn't find a post where owlvids said people should be euthanized or sterilized. Does anyone have a link?

These aren't in any particular order but here are links to them supporting the idea that paraphiles (people with stigmatized mental illnesses) are inherently dangerous along with supporting forced institutionalization, forced sterilization ("medical castration"), the death penalty, mob justice, and euthanization of people:

That's all from discourse earlier this month but I am NOT digging through whatever bullshit they're saying now because they've now moved back to calling people pedophiles for writing stories.

I never did get an answer on how owlvid was “dragged in” to the conversation.

Instead, the person who will raise a fuss about the different between claws and talons, and sigh about how screech owls don’t screech, just told a CSA survivor they’re “not the only CSA survivor” when that CSA survivor said that misusing important terms does more harm than good.

And yeah, they blocked me.

Considering things, it’s disappointing, because all of their behavior would make you think they were more logical and would listen to complex matters, but here we are.

For more detail on owlvids supporting eugenics: they've explicitly said that they support chemical sterilization and EUTHANASIA for certain mental illnesses, regardless of whether the person has actually hurt anyone. Everyone seems to have just quietly moved past that but it wasn't even a single tiny post that was easy to ignore, it was numerous posts, ask responses, and discussions with people spanning multiple days (if I remember correctly, it was brought up again later), making it clear that they support eugenics.

I have my own (very strong) opinions on TNR and exotic pets, but I would NEVER harass people or behave the way that owlvid does. The fact that they get so many passes and so much support solely for being a popular "animal" blogger (when was the last time they did any real animal content without harassing anyone?) really scares me.

Owlvid deleted their blog. I guess baiting people isn't as fun as they thought it would be. Actions have consequences. Frankly, this was a long time coming. I can't say I'm upset at all by the news. If they do come back, I hope their next iteration isn't nearly as vicious and asshole-ish.
