Happy birthday to Virgos! :D Your ruling dates are Aug 23 – Sep 23 and your ruling planet is Mercury. Your symbol is the virgin and your element is earth. As a Virgo you’re typically viewed as analytical, kind, hardworking, and practical. According to astrologers, Virgos tend to worry often (can confirm my mother is a Virgo); they are shy and dislike being the center of attention.

This is the eighth in my Zodiac digital painting collection. To represent the virginal symbol of Virgo I decided to take the furthest approach and use and angel. Though Virgo is typically shown as a feminine symbol and with my series I decided that earth and fire elementals would be depicted as masculine so I thought the angel would be the most appropriate route since they are meant to be androgynous in appearance. What do we think?
