undetermined hoachman/rorizon prompt written to make shark happy specifically
To make you happy specifically? 🤔 D&D night it is, nerd.
(nb!Roach, male!Horizon iirc)
“Dungeon Master Guide,” you hear Roach intone as they read the title of the clove green book they’ve just fished out of Horizon’s bookshelf.
The Dominus’ next words die on his lips as his usually gentle eyes widen and shoot Roach’s way. You two have been sitting at the small dining table in his cabin, discussing cult’s business, and it had taken a whopping minute of that for Roach to decide to step away and start snooping around.
When your companion looks up and finds Horizon’s shocked expression (guilty expression?) locked on them, they do a double-take. Roach frowns, then looks at the book, then at Horizon, and a devious smile gradually stretches their lips. “Dominus, don’t tell me this is some kinky bdsm thing…” They open the book, eyes twinkling with excitement.
In two steps Horizon is in front of them, unsuccessfully trying to snatch it from Roach’s hands. Roach sees the intent from miles away, though, and easily slips away and comes to stand next to you and on the other side of the table. They do let out a short ‘surprised’ yelp for Horizon’s sake.
The Dominus extends his hand, palm facing up. “Give it back.”
“Wait a minute,” Roach continues as they leaf through the pages. “This isn’t sexy at all. It’s just a bunch of numbers and rules and… rolling dice?”
A soft blush colors Horizon’s cheeks, and you turn to look at the book cover. “Dungeon and Dragons,” you read aloud before looking at him. “You like tabletop games, Horizon?”
“I—“ he clears his throat, “Yes, Great One.” Why does he look so contrite about it? You remember some kids playing at your school. It used to drive your very catholic teachers insane. “I was introduced to Dungeons and Dragons when I traveled abroad, but, uh… I haven’t played since.”
“That was years ago, wasn’t it?” you ask, and then you look at Roach. They throw you an inquisitive look, and you answer by tilting your head toward Horizon. Roach rolls their eyes but goes along with your plan.
With a smile that borders on condescending, they say, “We should give it a try. Show us your Master skills.”
“Oh,” Horizon says blinking away his surprise. “I’m not sure I could be the Dungeon Master, I have never tried and—“
“It’s alright, I can be the sex dungeon master,” Roach offers.
Horizon watches them, skepticism clear on his face. “You… know how to DM?”
“Oohh, fancy nerd lingo,” Roach tells you before inspecting the book for a moment. They shrug at the 200 or so pages, arch an eyebrow at Horizon. “Give me five minutes.”
