ever since the Freddy Situation™️ in their last year of middle school, abby and owynn start growing apart. owynn starts talking less and less to her and obviously abby suffers from this and starts to think her brother hates her or something. she tries talking to him and tries to get him to eat lunch with her but its no use ..... she feels almost like an outcast in the family
also this is like 10x more horrible with my hc that the student council already sabotaged the funtimes . mmm ok

after they moved from japan their mom couldn't adapt well and became more harsh with them, more towards onnie
so after feeling like shit from a butt he ran away one night and got liek . beat up which his how he got his scar. it was also the same night he met the nightmares so 🎉🎉🎉 when he introduced himself to them he changed his name on the spot to the most intimidating thing he could think of, which was Oni (meaning demon)

the siblings are okay as well, just gotten a little distant. not like abby and owynn, but more like acquaintances who don't know how to talk to each other. onnie is rarely home and usagi feels odd whenever she does see him around. they rarely see each other at school either
onnie is maybe a little jealous of usagi.,,,, maybe of how she's younger than him and can still do so many things much better ...... how people like her a lot more and how much more successful she is ..... i'll leave it there ...

I take Owynn stupidly seriously, as one might guess from my entire account. And a line in his song that has always made me sad is:
"Se creen tanto, riendo y jugando. Sintiéndose amados y despreocupados. Me enervan la piel. ¡Es momento de que empiecen a aprender!"
Like. What the fuck is he genuinely talking about here????? Why is this sixteen-year-old saying this. Do you not PLAY??????? Do you not feel LOVE?????? Are you not UNBURDENED????????
It's not just like "ugh other people are cringe" thing because he mentions such basic and normal things. He cannot have any of that, and it makes him feel like he's looking at a different species. Kids laughing together, kids being carefree, kids trusting each other.
There's something really upsetting to me about a kid looking at other kids playing and reacting with anger instead of longing. Like the normal reaction would be I wish I had that. But instead he reacts with you shouldn't get to have that either.
To me, Owynn's story is genuinely that his life sucks stupid bad, to an almost comical degree. And because of that he has the actual worst fucking time trusting anyone at all. His horrible life also makes him an extremely envious person, because everyone seems to have a better life than him and they keep flaunting it.
This thing splits in 2 directions:
The contempt he has for himself, thinking of the weakest and grossest part of himself (a scared and reserved girl) as the "body" he hates so much. Which is also why his self-hatred is so specifically gendered. It's not just dysphoria in the normal sense. It's dysphoria mixed with this idea that the version of him that was hurt all the time was that girl. So the girl becomes the symbol of weakness, helplessness, humiliation.
What he envies about the animatronics:
Bonnie can still see without his glasses. I have it so Owynn has a bunch of eye issues, which is why his eyes are not a solid color like other arthropods (Loon for example). He has retinal dystrophies, and his green eye in particular is going to go blind with nothing he can really do to stop it.
And that kind of slow, inevitable loss messes with your head in a very specific way. You live every day knowing that it's getting worse and there's absolutely nothing you can do about it.
So when he looks at someone like Bonnie, who can just casually function without glasses, it's not a small thing to him. It feels unfair on a cosmic level.
Golden is just… Golden, lmao. Rich, famous, assigned a guy at birth, and white. Owynn has no fucking money because whatever money he manages to get always gets taken by his father. He wants fame, he wants eyes on him. He's trans and extremely hostile toward himself and toward his own assigned gender at birth. And he's Indigenous. His long hair is precisely because he's Indigenous and even though cutting it would make it easier for him to pass, he cannot bring himself to do it. Even though he is Indigenous his birth name is Christian-derived (because of his dad), and his chosen name is something extremely neutral and even English-sounding. Because part of him is scared of acknowledging his beliefs since he's always been mocked for them.
So yeah. White blonde “guy” makes him feel evil. Because Golden is basically a walking checklist of everything Owynn believes the world rewards. The right body, the right race, the right background, the right visibility.
Both Chica and Fox are sporty people. Fox playing basketball comes from his backstory where they didn't let him play, lmao, but he grew up and played anyway. Chica skating is a FNAF reference! In Secret of the Mimic she just rollerskates everywhere.
Owynn has really shitty joints. Mostly because he lives in a very abusive, violent household, and because when he was little he dealt with very violent bullying. So his joints never healed quite right.
Which also means that a lot of the normal “kid activities” people take for granted were either painful or straight up impossible for him. Running, sports, physical games, even just roughhousing with other kids without it being just a one sided beating.
So again you get that same theme: watching other people do things that look effortless to them but would genuinely hurt him.
And then it all snowballs into Freddy. Because, as he says, él es el mayor culpable de sus actos tan infames. It stops being about general resentment toward the world and becomes something much more personal. Because Freddy isn't just another person who had it better.
It shifts from him just being a petty, envious guy; into thinking about Freddy with a lot more panic.
"Take my lungs, take them and run" is mostly about Owynn trying to run away from his idea of Freddy. He's tired and out of breath, and from his own perspective a more monstrous and off-looking Freddy is there looking crazy as hell.
"Take my tongue, take it and run" is mostly about the bullying he suffered when he was a kid, and how it built up into him idolizing Freddy as the only person who wasn't outright fucking evil to him. When he was little a kid bit a part of his tongue off when he kissed him by force. That made Owynn internalize that people always want something from him, and that taking a part of him would somehow be “fun.” But you still can't see Freddy clearly there, just a vague silhouette and a bunch of teeth biting down.
He was no different than the rest. He hurt Owynn either way.
"Take my heart, take it apart" is about them being kids and getting along. Then Freddy has blood on his hands and Owynn is almost laughing about it. What a fucking dumbass he was. Believing anyone was good at all. Freddy is the one he hates the most because he let himself believe he was safe for once, and then he wasn't.
There's a really specific kind of humiliation in realizing that the one person you trusted wasn't actually different from everyone else. It doesn't just make you angry at them. It makes you angry at yourself for believing it in the first place.
Which is why Freddy becomes the person he hates the most.
The end part sadly doesn't translate all that well visually. I should have added wood markings to the object or something but if I open that file again my FireAlpaca is going to crash, lol.
He's turning around one of those little wooden figurines the villains have, but it's blank. There's nothing carved into it yet, like he's thinking about it.
