“ ---you should not be here. ” the speaker, as of yet, was still too cloaked in shadows to be visible, but the voice itself was far more than enough to send chills down anyone’s spine. it was rough, low, and sharp at the edges with some strong foreign accent --- french, most likely, if the inscription that had sat above the entrance to the cave was any indication. leaves and twigs hissed against the floor as something enormous shifted in the blackness of the far corner. “ was my written warning outside not SUFFICIENT? ”

fingers bring the solo cup to his lips , a much NEEDED break from the height of the exam season. it was one thing to have to focus on exams & theseus’ as is , but to have compiled on top of that the WORRY of grading a discussion group while also having to grade THEIR work & their exams , it was enough to make joe’s head EXPLODE. but he was quick to FORGET that now , as dark eyes focused on the game of beer pong being played , ever too enthused to cheer on his buddy when he SCORED on the other team. but attention diverts for a moment , to the girl that’s stood to watch beside him , auburn hair catching his eye & he smiles to himself ----- you gotta be kidding.      ❛     clarissa , right? it’s a surprise to see you awake.     ❜
