Alistair: I heard you last night -- when you were on watch. Singing.
Sophia: Oh? Are you sure you weren’t dreaming?
Alistair: If I was dreaming you would be singing to me ... so no, I was definitely awake.
Sophia: [Laughs] Very suave. You must remember how it goes, then.
Alistair: Only the melody. Something like [low humming]. Is it a lullaby?
Sophia: Actually, it’s a dirge!
Alistair: The way you say that... it’s like when Leliana finds a pretty pair of shoes. You can be very... eerie sometimes.
Sophia: So you won’t want me serenading you later, I take it.
Alistair: Well, I didn’t say that exactly.

Alistair: Wynne tells me you were somewhat of a teacher’s pet.
Sophia: Oh, please. You’re scarcely given a chance to deviate from what’s expected of you... if I didn’t invest all my effort into studying then I’d be crawling up the walls and shrieking in dead tongues.
Alistair: And you never tried to run away?
Sophia: No. [Whispering] But I did set a tapestry on fire once. Don’t tell Wynne.
Alistair: [Chuckles] Your secret’s safe with me.
I hope you don’t mind that I turn this into one for the soundtracks because I may have been very sleepy when I got this + @descarted ‘ s ask and just assumed you both meant music, even though at least one of them was certainly for the questions and not songs, which lead to me making one for STAR and one for DIANA so I wouldn’t do the same one twice. I know, I know. I’d promise not to do it again, but by this point, you know me and my weakness for character music.
