i remember watching the first episode of tfatws (haven't finished it tho) and when joaquin was like "they want a world without borders" i was like that's it? that's the goal of the Big Bad Group That Must Be Stopped? ik this was also a criticism of wv, but why can't the "villain" of tfatws be something like anti black racism against sam/him trying to help his sister while readjusting back or bucky's guilt and trauma over his time as the winter soldier. it's already more compelling than shoving in the flag smashers and pulling an mcu spiderman and demonizing MORE leftist ideologies.

it’s SO baffling (except not rly bc it’s. well.
