Inactivity Lately

Hello amazing followers!

I know you’re probably all sick and tired of hearing me tell you how inactive I’ve been and busy, etc but I guess that’s just the reality of my life. I realized I have definitely been lazy though and I regret it greatly. I should say that the reason I started this blog years ago is because I wanted to help promote a more christian-based dashboard to everyone’s tumblr! I thought music could unite people in every way so I wanted to do it through music. I’m not the best at music but I can definitely suggest some artists if you tell me what kind of music you like to listen to or even tell me some mainstream songs/artists you like. I try to do a lot of different kinds of artists on here but it’s usually based on songs I’ve listened to or just found out. With that said, I would LOVE to hear about some songs that you guys like to listen to (please reply or send in some requests!) I will love to hear about new music.

Alright, to my main point, because of my reasoning for starting this blog, I decided to try and be more active. I’m putting the images based on the requests I got in the past week or so in my queue so please don’t think I ignored you! I get pretty busy in the middle of the week but I definitely have time on weekends so I’m going to make a lot more posts and keep my queue active. To make sure this blog is active, I really need tons of requests or suggestions or simply just mentioning to me your favorite song. Please inbox me and I will LOVE to reply and read through them. Well hello everyone!

I'm seeing a lot of new followers and new faces so I just want to take this time to welcome you all. Of course, I want to say hello to even my older followers :) I hope you guys are all well! I just want to give out a quick reminder about the current features on this site as well as ones I plan to have in the future.

Tags. Probably the most common/loved feature. I tag every new upload/reblog with the artist and genre for the most part. You can click on any letter and browse the artists available. Honestly, it's pretty cool and if you have time on your hands, you should try and find a new artist to like. There are also links to the different types of post you may want to see (video, gif, audio, etc) Let me know if you have any difficulty with that!

Requests (Picture or Prayer). My inbox is always open for anyone who has requests. Do you wish there was an image with lyrics for a certain song? Or perhaps you'd like a gifset from a particular music video? Let me know! Also, if you'd like any prayer requests, I'm open for that too. I want to get to know you guys more so don't be shy in saying hi or if you just want to get something off your chest. If you want me to not publish something, just let me know and I'll keep it private. :)

Playlists. So this is a feature that will take some time to work on, and I will try and get it done within a month or so. I see a lot of christian blogs have playlists and such, and in general, I'm not a big fan of having one on the main blog page (especially since making the blog endless scrolling already eats up computer speed). However, I do think it is important to have playlists or some sort of music player other than audio posts ...especially since this is a christian music blog (well it's kind of expected lol). SO, I decided to have links up to different genre's of playlists in the near future. One link will also have all the songs available. I really am looking forward to this. If you guys have any suggestions on players or ways to easily put up the songs or just ANY advice or ideas on this new feature (even if you want to just tell me that you think it's good) please let me know!

A Much Needed Hiatus

Hey everyone,

Okay I'm here to inform some sad-ish news and for prayer requests.

So I have to go on a hiatus because I have some important studying to do and I need to get all my stuff together and actually focus on something instead of the internet (lol). So I decided I won't make anymore posts until like 3 weeks from now. The thing is, I'm taking an exam for medical school on August 16th. It would be really awesome if you could pray for me as well that I do well and that I get accepted to colleges when I apply. Afterwards, I'll post up many more things. In the meantime, I'll still check my tumblr mail from time to time so if you have any prayer requests or if you want to vent, please let me know! Don't worry! :) My inbox is always open for you.

I also have another prayer request. My family is some big trouble financially. Pray that my mom will get a job in the upcoming weeks because we really do need it. :( Please and thank you guys.

Okay, I've made about a million of these "sorry for the hiatus" posts but I will be working more on lyric pics and album pics and band photos and new artists and weekly top hit charts and music video gifs and so much moreeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
