Most noticeably, thinner legs due to an injury that has resulted in Oz using mobility aids (mostly a wheelchair, though occasionally they use forearm crutches)
Attire: One of the most important things to Oz is their wardrobe. Despite working a somewhat quaint job as a librarian, Oz will never be seen in less than their best. Trousers, suits, blouses, vests. Expensive clothing with a flair for leather and warm tweeds. When not at work, Oz's clothes will err more towards the risque - mesh and translucent shirts, leather harnesses and gloves, strappy dark boots.
TEMPERAMENT
Best Traits: cunning, clever, flirtatious, intelligent, rational, methodical.
Worst Traits: insecure, cruel, cold, pompous, sarcastic, sensitive.
Personality: At first blush, Oz comes across a bit pompous- but it's because of their track record. And hey, maybe it's covering up the vampire's deep insecurities that he is no longer good enough. That their days of being such a skilled asset to a team are gone. But Oz covers it all with sarcasm, something he's adept at. Sarcasm, endless knowledge, and flirting. Beyond that, they can be cold - too focused on work to truly care. Too used to bloodshed and taking lives to appear empathetic. But if you're the right person, you can wiggle your way into getting Oz to crack a smile or break out into a laugh. Especially if you stroke their bruised ego.
BACKSTORY
Levi Saffet walked with royalty, years ago. Well, specifically was wed by royalty, but that doesn't change the fact that they were important. Anything could be learned within hallowed halls with endless wealth and the world at your fingertips. Swordsmanship, combat, archery, horseback riding, penmanship, writing, sciences and anatomy. But every fantasy has an ending - and for Levi, it was drenched in blood.
A creature of the night, something spoken about in old wives tales and the bleakest of fictions, had found its way within Oz's sanctum. Turned and helpless, a once lauded consort was caged and terrorized after being found with fangs and blood dripping from a needy maw. Experiments, starvation, solitary confinement... a pet project for those in power. Until one day, the dungeon was too quiet.
Years of entrapment, something Oz never cares to speak about - and a permanently warped spine from this time in captivity. But breaking free was inevitable - and such royalty had fallen, as it always does. Conquests and wars, and a dungeon forgotten to time. Everything dead inside of it- even the rats.
Except for Oz.
Going under this new name, they crawled out and lived off the land quite a bit. Reintroduced himself to society after ages and ages of nothing but gray stone walls. And finally, after working as a sell-sword and then a gun-for-hire, a chemist, then a bookbinder, Oz was pulled in by The Visitors and joined their Inner Circle.
Now they work as a librarian - and to anyone else's knowledge, Oz uses their mobility aids due to a high-stakes assassin job went wrong. But it isn't true, and the vampire would rather die than admit to the humiliation of prolonged captivity as some foolish king's experiment.
William isn't much of a reader, if he's being perfectly frank. So it's an irony that his affiliation pulls him, more often than not, to the small, crowded bookstore. He doesn't like it much, ill-at-ease in the relatively claustrophobic space, but he does whatever he needs to do So here he is, letting himself in and looking around as he's confronted with the smell of old books - dying paper, more accurately. As usual, Oz is one of the first people he sees and he pauses at the other end of the aisle where the man is working. "Anything new for me?" He asks - and most people would assume he's asking for something to read, rather than an entirely different type of information. "I hate getting bored."
