“Huh? What?” Chase responds, rused from deep thoughts. He blinks for a moment before he reaches up to his face… Looks like someone wasn’t really paying attention to their lunch today either. Little embarrassed he collects his composure and picks a handkerchief from his coat’s pocket, wiping away the sauce of the food which was left over before turning his attention back to the nautilus that spoke to him. “Thank you… Sir.“
He chews on his tongue a little, watching the Inkling. Now he's starting to feel that regret. He might’ve been a bit rude... That was way too easy a trap for him to step into with his horrid impulses. He rubs his cheek below the hood of his shell in embarrassment, about to apologize when Chase speaks up before he can. Sal can practically feel the wince internally, but tries to hide it with a quick response. “Don’t mention it. “Was it good at least? Don’t think I’ve tried that one before,” he said, looking over at the menus hanging on the cafe walls. He usually only went to Arowana like once a week, and it always seemed like just enough time for them to give weekly menu updates.
