I only recently learned that you refer to jam as jelly. Until about a week ago I thought you legitimately put gelatine jelly in sandwiches with peanut butter.
Jam and Jelly are two different things here
Jam is more solid and has chunky fruit bits in it. Jelly is basically solid Kool-Aid. There is some fruit product in it but it's been pulverized down so it's all one consistency.
