Might have gone on a little P Glen project hunt (haha, Hunt, okay I’ll show myself out) on Sunday and ordered some things. I’ve watched a heck of a lot of his work on YouTube but there’s still some of his bigger projects I haven’t seen. Of course I’ve seen Life on Mars but I didn’t own it on DVD and it’s not badly priced for second hand. Ashes is a whole different level and I may just wait until they’ll inevitabley re-release the DVDs (or even Blu Ray) which I’m sure they will with Lazarus on the horizon.
State of Play also stars the wonderful John Simm and I’ve been wanting to watch it for ages. And I cannot wait, it’s really got an amazing cast.
I’ve heard a lot of people say the 1998 version of Vanity Fair is one of the best adaptations they’ve done. And I gotta say Phil is the most adorable William Dobbin ever, and I can now actually finally watch it in full.
I really want to watch Clocking Off but they only released series one on DVD and I know it’ll bug me too much if I only see the first series. How many amazing actors are there in it oh my. Hopefully it gets plonked on Netflix or something in the future as I know it was very popular when it aired in the early noughties.
