Just Give Me A Reason || Jordan and Khalid
Jordan had been hearing all kinds of different things from people ever since Friday night when Khalid stranded her at the dance. She had not meant to get so upset but she had come to realize it’s because she came to care too much about him. She knew that was her own fault he had told her time and again that he didn’t care about anyone but himself. So she took a step back but then she got flooded with all these voices in her ear saying he did care and part of her just couldn’t put it to rest without asking him herself. So she drove to his place. Standing outside the door she took a deep breath. This was crazy what was she doing? She almost turned back, but what was that going to help? So she knocked on the door. Waiting for him to answer she thought of all the things she was going to say but they all flew out of her hed the moment she saw his face. Before he could open his mouth to speak she just blurted out what she was thinking. “Listen I know you said a million times that you don’t care about me or anyone else and that’s fine I accepted that, but I also know that you know I care about you. Well there have been a lot of different things being said about you and whether or not you do actually care so here’s how it is... If you do care about me even just a little tiny bit just tell me and we can figure it out how to be whatever we are, but if you don’t then I’ll walk away but you need to know if I walk away I’m not coming back because I’m gonna need space to get over it and to get over myself.” She said taking a deep breath her large brown eyes rested on his face waiting to hear what he had to say.
