it was so stupid. risking her tenure, everything she'd worked so hard for just because her boyfriend couldn't keep it in his pants and she wanted to make him pay. still, asking them to stay late, finding an excuse about a dissertation that needed reviewing, or whatever it was she had stuttered about was crazy and alex could feel the nerves climbing in her throat as she paced around her office. and yet, the idea of getting her revenge, seeing the look in her boyfriend's eyes when he'd realized - that set her body alive, almost eager to make him pay for it. as they crossed the threshold, lights dim in the empty building, she smiled, something professional - for now. "thank you so much for agreeing to help me out. i was afraid i'd spend the entire night locked in here if you didn't say yes." closing the distance between them in a few steps, her hand found their arm, squeezing briefly. "ready?"

Revelations|Fernand&Alexandre

Fernand had been wandering the city again. He’d settled into the bar across from one of the theatres, having gone to see a show to distract himself from his own life for a few hours. He’d started to finally feel like himself again. He thought he saw a familiar face across the bar and made his way to the man. “My God. Pierre? Christ, where have you been?” 

It had been months since he had bumped into the man last. “How’ve you been? You’ll excuse me for saying, but you look a little tired.” He shrugged, knowing he must not look much better. “But then again, who isn’t tired with times being what they are?” He felt for his purse, the clink of some coins assuring him he could spare another drink. “Let me buy you a drink, for old times sake. We can catch up over an ale.”

"No, it’s not a fake –” Kevin argued with the guard in the front door. “No, I’m not... Listen, man. I know I look young and beautiful, you might be jealous of that, I don’t care. I’m twenty-four, man. Been for a while,” he said, finally getting serious and kind of frustrated with the guards. It wasn’t the first time it happened. He was already late, and they were making them even more late, but hey, at least he had someone else to blame other than himself. After a few minutes and a little interview where they got his address, his birthdate and every little piece of information they could, he finally walked into the bar, his jacket draping on his arm. It wasn’t hard to find Alex. He had only seen him once but the man had left some sort of impression. “Hey,” he said, tapping his shoulder lightly. “Sorry. I... apparently look too young to be let into one of these places, but... here I am, after a mildly long wait,” Kevin chuckled.

alex is by no means a great cook. in fact, before she moved to the city to teach, she had spent her college years living off take-out and whatever she could grab as she studied in the library. but if there was one thing she loved, it was learning. so when billie had suggested to teach her to cook proper mexican food, not that american garbage - she had jumped on the opportunity.

grinning as they worked side by side in her kitchen, she bumped her hip against her girlfriend's gently, as she continued to chop the tomatoes. "okay, another one. give me another word and i'll try to find which one it is." she chuckled, as she tried to memorise what billie was teaching her, spanish words for each ingredient they were preparing. she focused on the task, softly murmuring the words she had already learned to make sure she'd remember them before she glanced back at billie expectantly. "come on!"

this wasn't the plan - far from anything she had imagined. maybe she'd been careless, checking on her page and taking a couple of pictures - faceless, as always, just allowing her subscribers to enjoy the sinful lace she had on underneath her crisp shirt - but now here she was, with them having knocked at the wrong moment, the opening of the door surprising her before she had the time to button her shirt back up - which meant being caught in a more than compromising position.

the downfall she had waited for hadn't come, time suspended instead as she had seen desire light up their eyes. and now here they were, alex pressed against the door of her office - door locked this time - with lips traveling along her neck, making her entire body flush with need. "fuck, you're - you're good at that." she whimpered softly, tilting her head back to give them more skin to kiss.

Hello Again || Alex & Fernand

Fernand was making his way through the faire, picking a pocket or a purse as the opportunity presented itself. There were dancers and merchants, and nobility mingled amongst the common folk at an unprecedented rate. It was considered the event of the season, if not the year. Spring was returning, and everyone was eager to shrug off what remained of the winter chill. As the man pushed through the crowds, allowing himself to look more attentively at the various tables full of goods than usual. He was hoping to find something to surprise Simca with for her birthday, and he had already found a small gift for Gaspard. As for himself, there were some small necessities he needed and was hoping to find today. A gentle voice caught his attention, and he turned to see if he recognized the owner. A slim man in much too large of clothing stood on the other side of the path. Fernand made his way across, tapping him on the shoulder. "Pierre? Is that you?"
