Hang In There Joan | Flashback
While Anna enjoyed being home during the breaks, she had to admit that there were only so many rooms she could explore. It seemed rather odd to be complaining when she was as fortunate as she was, but if she could, she’d trade the five weeks spent alone in the family home for her small apartment and dinner with her friends. She checked her phone for any messages from Hans, even though she knew there weren’t any since the last time she checked. Shoving her phone back in her pocket, she wandered through the halls of the Arendelle’s family home. Occasionally, she’d see her nanny moving from room to room, or she’d hear the chef in the kitchen, but mostly she was left with her own thoughts.
Figuring she had nothing to lose, she made her way to Elsa’s room, hesitating for just a moment before gently knocking on the door. “Elsa? Come on, I know you’re in there!” Anna took a deep breath, waiting for a response. She pulled up a smile, hoping it added more joy to her voice as she spoke again. “I think the Joan of Arc painting is getting sick of my company. And I think our nanny will kill me if I try to ride the bike in the house again--feel like riding with me? For old time’s sake?”
