Early Mornings -- Davards
It had been ten in the morning by the time the bothersome sound of the buzzing phone on Calum’s night stand could be heard, yet the guy still buried his head into the pillow as if the sound was worse than someone craping their nails down a chalkboard. The sound of his groans leaving his lips could barely be heard, however it still seemed like it came to Collin’s attention.
The older guy let himself fall down onto the bed, wrapping his left arm around Calum’s curled up body clumsily as soon as he started to wiggle out of his grip. “Don’t want to get up yet, just leave me here for another three hours or so,” Calum mumbled into his pillow, never switching spots to cuddle into Collin’s body or rolling over to his back. Calum and early mornings was a combination that had never worked out well, even though you could put up for discussion if ten o’clock was still early in the morning or not. For Calum it certainly was, and that guy knew that Collin still hadn’t learnt that.
“Just get up and stop whining, asshole,” Collin protested, poking the guy’s cheek repeatedly as an attempt to help him feel like getting out of bed, or at least keeping him awake for the time being. A useless attempt, in reply to the first possibility.
“Once you learn how to make me pancakes and wake me up with breakfast and Plain Jane reruns, I will consider it.” Collin rolled his eyes, and a soft hmpfescaped his lips. As if that was ever going to happen. The first part already. If anyone knew Collin, they had already realized that he wasn’t one hell of a cook and would never be either. If you asked him how the oven in his apartment worked he would actually have to find the guidelines before he would have a proper answer. Asking Collin to cook, was asking for trouble. Or a burnt down kitchen.
Calum sighed, yet rolled down onto his side before pulling Collin further down into bed again to bury his face into his chest. Their legs were tangled together within a few seconds, and Calum’s hands were gripping onto Collin’s shirt after wrapping his arms around his torso. “Better like this? I’m awake now, sort of.”
Honestly, Collin had no idea how he ended up in Calum's bed when his eyes opened, a burning feeling in his throat making him want to get out and make tea immediately. Why did that damn phone had to go off again and disturb his rest? Bright light came from out of the windows, making Collin realize it was probably close to lunch time, a slight groan coming out of his mouth as he wrapped one of his hands around Calum, the other looking for the phone on the nightstand and trying to read what it actually said, still needed to get used to the light. Calum's words however, made the tall boy roll his eyes in annoyance and try and get himself out of his tight grip. Collin knew that the curly boy wasn't a person who lived for mornings, actually, that was quite the understatement that you could be making. The boy still had to do with Calum's mom who had to go through waking Calum up each and every single day for school.
However, as Collin proceeded looking for his sweatpants that were probably laying somewhere across the room, he grunted as Calum continued talking, the little shit-- would it be so hard to just open his eyes? Besides, Collin and baking, cooking or anything close to that in one sentence was like an lame April Fools joke, meant to fail. Just when Collin was about to stand up-- his shirt already back on, as he noticed his pants lying right next to Calum's wardrobe, he felt two hands pulling him back again, making him look around and letting him fall down again on the soft matrass. Almost immediately Collin placed his arm on Calum's shoulder, his head resting against Calum's. "Sort of?" Collin chuckled, looking up at the ceiling. "I could still get out of bed, grab a bucket of water to throw over your head and you wouldn't notice until you actually get wet." He laughed, letting his hand go through Calum's hair. "Do you really want me to make pancakes?" Collin wondered, rambling a little. It wouldn't even surprise him that at this time Calum had fallen back asleep again, it happened occasionaly-- Collin talking to Calum and soon realizing the curly boy was asleep. "I mean, I think we still have some of those microwave ones in the fridge and Plain Jane is probably somewhere on Netflix." The tall boy bit his lip, making an attempt to look down at the younger boy. "You're cute when you've just woken up." He said, realizing just a few moments later what he had said, feeling Calum's hands around his waist as he pulled him in a little closer and wrapped the blankets around them.
