Josh had gotten her text saying that she was heading back to Columbus, which only meant one thing, He was going to tell her he loved her. He had bottled it up since she admitted she was in love with him during the game earlier this month, and he would be going with her to Colorado, and she’d be going to Burlington with him all during this Christmas week. Meeting the parents was a very big step for any couple, but Josh had a whole other idea for this Christmas season, one he wasn’t sure was the best idea, but he knew it felt right, everything about Taylor felt right to him.
Having called Seth to bring over the surprise Josh had been keeping with his friend, what he had planned was a 5-month old Frenchie, a friend of his’ dog had puppies months ago, and josh had thought of one for himself, but with Taylor in his life, he thought this would be something for them. Some people may think he was moving fast with Taylor, but when Taylor felt more like home than anyone else he had been with, he knew she was something special. As much as he hated ignoring Taylors texts that she was on the way, but at the same time, he was trying to keep the puppy entertained, waiting to hear the sound of her at the door. Hearing the sound of the key in the lock he picked up the puppy holding her in his arms, waiting for his girlfriend to make her entrance. When the door swung open, He had a big smile on his face, “Surprise!”
