Back to Black || Mini and Nick

Though they'd only talked for a few minutes, Mini and Nick had already made plans to get drinks. Whether this was a date or not, he wasn't sure, but he was sure she'd understand the feelings he still had for Franky. He got his stuff together and made his way out the door and to the truck he'd recently acquired. Soon enough, he was on the road and the music in his car began playing loudly. After a few minutes of driving around, he found her place and got out of the car, making his way to the door. He knocked twice and put his hands in his pockets while he waited.

He wondered what she'd be doing with her baby, the one she'd named after a friend of theirs, one who'd passed away about two years before. He shuddered at the memory, all of the problems Luke had caused... He pulled his phone out of his pocket to check the time, they'd never agreed on a certain time, but he'd said soon, so he got there about fifteen minutes later. Before he could stop himself, he was back to thinking about Grace Creevey, and whether or not he'd get the chance to meet her tonight. He'd only seen her once before, and it was before he'd gone to Ireland, he knew the young child must have grown a lot in the year he and Mini had been apart, she would look so different. She would have to be beautiful considering she'd come from Mini, and she knew that the girl's mother would be very proud, Nick would too if he had a child.

Royals ♔ Mini & Luke

Luke lounged in his living room, smoking a cigarette and thinking about just exactly what he was getting himself into tonight. He held the cigarette loosely between his fingers and brought it up to his lips, inhaling deeply before pulling it away and tapping the ashes into the tray sitting on the small table off to the side of the couch. Mini McGuinness. Her name brought a sort of sick twisted fucking smile to his lips. She was the newest target of Luke's fleeting fascination and it had taken him a bit of hounding to get her to finally allow him to take her out. He wanted to knock the princess off of her high horse and drag her through the mud a bit before taking her for a ride himself. Luke laughed out loud at the thought. Tonight was going to be fucking great, a real treat.

The games he had been playing were getting tiring and old, Luke needed a challenge and that's what Mini presented him with. Her wit was sharp and she had a fit body about her with an attitude to match it all. Oh no, she wasn't the usual broken down and easily persuaded girl Luke often found himself drawn to. The fact that Mini thought that he was nothing but scum gave Luke a new sort of feul to the desire to prove her wrong. He was more man than any of the fucking boys she had been playing and preoccupying herslef with. Luke stubbed out his cigarette and stood up from his spot on the couch before checking his watch. It was time to getting going, he didn't want to upset his date by showing up late. Luke grinned as he slid into his jacket and picked up his keys. He made his way out of his flat and down to her car with light steps. It was safe to say that he was excited to see Mini.

Luke slid into the cool interior and revved up the engine before pulling out of his parking spot and falling into place on the road amongst the evening traffic. Good luck. Mini's voice echoed in his head as he found his way to her place. He doubled checked the address before cutting the inginition and stepping out of the car and into the chill autumn air. As if he needed luck, something told him that Mini also had a sick fascination that she had trouble shaking off. Luke was more than happy to itch that irritating scratch and soothe her for the night. He found 31A and approached her door with a sly smile on his face. Luke checked his watch and was pleased to find that was in fact ahead of time. 8:13 He gently rapped his knuckles against the door and took a step back, waiting for Mini to grace him with her prescence.
