Life Changing Moments || Hannah-Kyle-John-Seth.
"Hannah Elizabeth Barnes!"
The screeching tone of her mothers voice was enough to wake the dead from the everlasting slumber, let alone Hannah from her little napping spot on the end of her bed, curled up in countless blankets and cheeks red from slumber.
"HANNAH. DOWNSTAIRS NOW!"
Her father too. Wow. When the parents teamed up it showed they meant business of some sort, else they'd be silently in other parts of the house, directly avoiding each other.
Groaning softly, Hannah wiggled her way out of her cocoon and rubbed her eyes softly, her blonde hair a curly mess. Knowing she looked stupid, her top slightly ridden up over her bump, she made her way downstairs, pulling her hair back and tying it with the tie on her wrist.
"Yeah I'm here; Sorry I was sleeping" She mumbled, her voice husky and face a mixture of confusion and worry.
They stood their in their fury, eyes cold and judging, her mothers pointedly looking at her baby bump, making Hannah's back straighten. If looks could kill, well it would be simple to say that both mother and child would have easily been obliterated. Her mind was more focused on this and trying to keep her self strong as her father started speaking to her. Coming around she caught the last words and the last name she wanted to hear.
"Frankly, young lady we're disgusted. We've heard things about you that no parent would dream of hearing about their child .. and then there's this situation.." Her mother flung her arm in the direction of the baby with a sneer. "Finding out your only daughter is the town .. well slut! No better word for it is there Hannah! We had higher hopes for you."
The expression on her mom's face was almost like she was trying to feel but couldn't quite get there, like the love for her only child had just simple been absorbed away with the years. Hannah's jaw fell and her eyes welled up, simply standing there, breathless.
Bryce had been a mistake .. she thought he was sweet and tried to date him .. he'd been amazing for about two weeks until he got his leg over. Then she was his toy for another week, he forced himself on her despite her protesting, lending her out to his friends, and dumped her publicly and humiliatingly only days afterwards. He took everything from her and for the rest of that year she was an empty shell. It'd been Sam that had helped her get herself back together. But she'd never dreamed that this would get out to her parents, who hardly spent any time in town to know any of her business.
"If it wasn't for that nice boy, the blondie cashier at the mini mart, tipping us off to watch you we'd never have known.. that was your plan wasn't it Slut. To keep it a secret, fool us like the idiots you think we are. This was the last straw Hannah Barnes. This is it. No more." Her mothers words made her flinch with the viciousness, but it was her fathers icy tone and cold eyes and finality that dealt the final blow.
"No daughter of mine is the town slut. No daughter of mine is knocked up. I have no daughter ... Get out .. you have two days .. move out and do not come back. We want nothing to do with you. You have your trust fund. You'll probably shack up with one of your many men .. put you are no longer a member of our family. You sicken me."
The world crumbled out from under her feet.
She was alone, her and her unborn child, with a little money and no family.
Let breathless at the bottom of the stairs, no words in her throat, and tears in her eyes, the people she once called parents walked away in different directions, cutting their ties so quickly and easily it was almost like nothing had changed for them.
Pain coursed through her as she sank to the floor, the sobs echoing around the large marble hallways, with no one to hear and no one to care for the broken blonde, rounded with child.
Hours later, her eyes red and swollen, Hannah shakily sat up, pushing the hair from her face. How .. how could this have happened. She recalled all the words spoken in the short moments that brought her easy life crashing about her ears. 'That nice boy, blondie at the mini mart'... They had ruined her, they deserved to know her pain.
Growling low in her chest, she stumbled to the front door, pulling down a coat and throwing it on over her tank and joggers, slipping her feet in to a pair of flats. Grabbing her keys she left, jogging in a rage, her eyes on fire.
This person was going to pay.
It'd been a slow day but it was starting to pick up now and all the staff had come in to pitch a hand, mind you all the staff meant about 5 people including the manager. Not a lot but still, they got the job done, and quickly.
Running his hands through his hair, Kyle sighed, resting his elbows on the cashier desk, resting for a second before another customer, laden with an alcohol filled cart came to his check point. Scanning through the items quickly, with a smile on his lips.
"That'll be 30 dollars please sir." He spoke, his aura tired but charming at the same time.
Taking the money, he dropped it in the til, offering the gentleman his receipt as the door was angrily shoved open, the bell having a little field day as it announced the new arrival.
Turning his head, an eyebrow raised, Kyle was greeted with the red eyes and angry face, a sigh building up in his chest and turning back around. Hannah Barnes may have been his boyfriends best friend -seriously .. they seemed joined at the hip sometimes, a little like siblings- but she was one of his least favorite people in the bay. Not to mention the fact she was a complete whore.
Whilst he was contemplating he presence, Hannah was scouting the store, looking at all the cashiers hair colours .. there was a single blonde their and it was the one person she knew hated her guts.
"Fucking Telson." She mumbled under her breath, squaring her shoulders and walking over to him. "Kyle Telson, you fucking twat."
Brow furrowed, Kyle turned sharply to face the small woman with a fierce look on her face. "What do you want Hannah?" He half spat out, trying to keep his voice low so his manager wouldn't interject.
"You told my mother about fucking Bryce .. how did you even know .. and the others. You little fucker. And I can't believe at one point I trusted you. No I was probably another fucking notch on your bed post before you came out as a cock gobbler!"
Her words were sharp and loud, full of hate as she leant across the till to scream at him, eyes tearing up again. Half of this she didn't mean but in her anger it was all coming out.
"You don't know what you're talking out" He sneered.
"Don't I? DON'T I ? BECAUSE I JUST GOT KICKED OUT FOR BEING THE TOWN WHORE ALL BECAUSE OF YOU BASTARD!"
Bristling and angry, Kyle felt a tap on his shoulder, turning to see his manager all worried and small. "Take this out side?" He mumbled, Kyle nodding in ascent and taking off his apron.
He grabbed Hannah's shoulder slightly, ignoring her screeching and her jerking movements, trying to her his hand off of her.
Once in the parking lot her let her go, pushing her lightly away leaving her to shout at him, cussing him out whilst he tried to remain calm, sending a quick text to Seth and John.
'Seth, get here quick, Hannah's blowing up at me. Stupid whore's gone crazy - love you.'
'John your fucking girlfriend is going ape shit on me in the minimart parking lot!! Come and fucking control her before I do ..'
