Worthwhile.
It was one of those rare days Morgan didn’t have practice and wasn’t out on the field training anyway. The weather was a little too cold anyway, and since half her hoodies were with Charlie and the other half with Rowan, Morgan had decided to stay in the Academy.
It was also one of those days where she felt not really like herself. She made it to her room and Charlie was nowhere to be seen, and the jock just didn’t feel like being alone. She also wanted to call Rowan, but she had imagined that if Charlie wasn’t around, they were probably together.
So, Morgan found herself in the library; earbuds in place to isolate her but the students all around her made things easier.
Thinking about Row, Morgan remembered her being all soft while they watched a movie. It had been a while since they had spent a night together, mostly because Morgan had been really hung over Charlie, but also, they hadn’t really seen each other in the last days. Without really realizing what she was doing, Morgan had started drawing her best friend on the sketchbook the jock always carried around. Only the things that made her happy, that meant something to her made it into its pages.
After a few minutes of drawing, she sighed before pulling her phone out to text the girl.
