Natalie read Claudio’s text, chuckling as she turned to her food. Lately she had been cooking a lot for others, but she liked it, she had this strange thing in which she felt really happy to make other people happy. Maybe that was why she neglected herself so much during her wedding. Well, that was past now, she had to focus on the future.
And the future included Claudio. By now she was used to the thought of being his girlfriend, even if they never said such words. They were dating, right? It wasn’t an affair and not those other things that Natalie was so unfamiliar with such as friends with benefits or... What was it... A booty call. It couldn’t be that if there were feelings involded, she guessed. Sometimes Natalie was annoyed at her own lack of experience, but it was difficult to see all the years she spent with TJ as a bad thing. Maybe she was too dressed up for a dinner in her own house, but she couldn’t wear her Roots of Fight shirts, that would look so weird, and Natalie cared very much about her looks, so she was wearing better clothes.
