Crowded city streets, and loud, hectic traffic irritated Jongin's ears more than anything, but thankfully, they began to fade into the distance as their currently surroundings changed. The man he'd found dead in the alleyway stood behind him for some time, quietly assessing what was going on. At first, he'd posed a few questions for Jongin, the same questions he always heard. "Am I dead?" "Is this heaven or hell?" "Who are you?" Of course, each interrogative was answered with silence as was his style. For a moment, it was if they merely floated between time in space. No destination nor obligation in mind, he had hoped the man was able to enjoy the small amount of time. It may be his last. A bright and blinding light flashed over head, making their surroundings invisible before finally fading.
Here they were. The Hall of Judgement. Another question was asked, but it went deaf to Jongin's ear. He merely nodded his chin forward, telling the man to follow him. The walls were intricately painted with beautiful designs and people, embroidered by golden carvings. It was a majestic place, but the beauty only awed those who had never been. At the end of the hall, a podium stood independently and without its owner. It was a curiosity as to where the bookkeeper remained at the moment, but Jongin hadn't forgotten about his awaiting company. He glanced at the man before shrugging. "Don't touch anything but the book and the pen." He left the message short as sweet before disappearing into an air of smoke.
