At this point Kiyeol can agree that he had probably spoken to more people at this party than he ever did in years. Maybe it was because he was the new kid and everyone was curious about him. Kiyeol began to remember the days when he didn’t lock himself away in his room. He only became reclusive once he snapped at his father back in the day. His father was really the only person Kiyeol had ever known growing up. Well, him and a small girl who was his neighbour when he was young. He still remembers the girl vividly--Nayoung. She used to hold his hand and follow him around calling him big brother. She was Kiyeol’s salvation as a child. Sometimes he wondered what she is up to nowadays. But he quickly shook the thought out of his head. Kiyeol grabbed himself a glass of wine and began to scan the crowd once again. That’s when he saw that familiar face. “No way... Nayoung....?” he muttered to himself. When the girl turned towards his direction he quickly scampered off to his usual corner of the party. That couldn’t have been her. It’s been years since they saw each other because Kiyeol disappeared and locked himself away. He just couldn’t bring himself to face the fact that maybe, just maybe, Nayoung was closer than he thought.
