Do I wanna know?//Viv&Thomas
Sighing softly as she scraped her fingers through her hair unevenly, her dull hues locked onto the sheet of drabble before her. Maths. She couldn't fathom the idea of it and why you needed to know some bloody dude called Pythagoras; whom whoop de doo knows how to do jack shit. Dropping her pencil in frustration and rolled her eyes back into her head. Using one hand to pull her art book from her bag - she gave the mathematical equations one last glance before balling the sheet up, clutching it in one hand and throwing it into the bin perfectly as she smirked; accomplished. Laughing to herself silently, she'd think of an excuse for it later and went back to her art progressing rapidly.
Viv curled her fingers around the pencil swiftly and put it to the paper, her hand moving at a shocking pace as she added depth and dimension to her drawing - it was a drawing of her parents. It was a separate assignment she has set herself. Something she felt she needed. Granted, she would probably throw it away later on due to the fact it didn't capture the reality of her parents; Viv felt that their true colours weren't conveyed in the art work but for her...she needed it. It wasn't closure or relief. It was a way she saw their faces everyday. Fearing she might one day, forget. Forget what they looked like. That day would be one she hated immensely.
But the soft strumming of guitar sharply cut through her thought train. Raising her head, with furrowed brows and gnawing on her lesser lips - she was curious as to whom was playing so beautiful. It was a step closer to violin. That's what Viv thought. More importantly she was dying to learn to play an instrument but right now she wanted to know whom played so well. Locking her eyes on the source, her brows remained knotted. She'd seen him before but she certainly didn't know him...he was older.. slightly? Sitting their in her day dream Viv realised she must be staring and that he might have noticed but she couldn't seem to tear her eyes away. Envious of his talent and curious - who was he. Viv knew everyone's name even if she didn't know them.
