it’s loud in the technology fair. cheers of excited young kids and shouts of those who are promoting the company’s newest innovations fight for dominance in the ears of passerbys. loudness and chaos is inevitable when it comes to huge events such as this, and the dark doesn’t know why she still agreed to come despite the consequences that’ll follow. her fingers snake towards her hair as she pulls it over her ear, trying to reduce the sounds that hits her eardrums.
“what are we doing here again?” turning to her friend, she lets her hands fall once she feels snug under her little defense mechanism. advancements in technology for the past few years has been crazy and truth be told, it’s a bit overwhelming. finding herself in the heart of it all just takes the cake. in every corner of the festival, there’s something new, and she can’t help but have her curiosity piqued.
