Alright I’m just gonna lay out a lot of things in this post because I feel like I just need somewhere to put it.
So I’m a senior in high school right? And I thought I found a group of friends who would stick with me forever, right? Wrong. Wrong wrong wrong.
I feel like they expect me to always follow them and whatever they do. (Talking about 2 girls btw). And most of the time I do, and like I try to do whatever I can to make them happy and feel good about themselves, like give them genuine compliments or like if it’s their fucking BIRTHDAY than I’ll do everything I can to make their day special, cause that’s what friends do AM I RIGHT.
Yeah okay but when my birthday roles along (this was like last week) they do nothing. They say happy birthday to me and then the day goes on, like it’s any other day. And fam this wasn’t like my 11th or 14th birthday or whatever it was my 18TH BIRTHDAY. And they did nothinggggg what the hell ???
And anytime I want to do something, they always shoot it down. Like this weekend, I wanted to go to homecoming, cause y'know it’s senior year and it’s our last one. But no, they don’t want to go. And it’s not just this weekend, it’s basically anything social I want to do.
I know what you’re thinking. Find some new friends Gem! Why are you sticking around with this shit holes? Well I would ditch them, but I’m a senior and I still have about 8 months to go so
