Personal Punch-Out Headcannons
Heyo, so I'm bored and I've decided to write down some of my personal headcannons for the boxers of Punch-Out! Now, I won't be surprised if others have these cause I think mine are pretty mainstream oof. Onto the headcannons-
• Basic one here, but I've always thought that Mac had a New Jersey accent? He's from the Bronx if I remember and it seems to fit him
• Mr. Sandman having insomnia seems to ironically fit him tbh, he's been a favorite of mine
• I think this is canon, but I imagine Bald Bull is actually super chill and calm, but since media has portrayed him as angery all the time he just goes with it??
• I feel like that after Mac beat all the boxers in TD, they all just accepted him as Champion if that makes sense? Like they're all good pals but will want rematches from time to time
• I personally think that Don and Mac have this sorta brotherly relationship? Like they'll make little snide remarks at each other but they support each other when the other has a match. Like I'd imagine that Don would wish Mac good luck and Mac would just brush it off. And then Don would be like, "I'm serious short stack!" and Mac would probably be like "I know, I know! I'm champion for a reason remember? I certainly taught you that in the ring.." and they'd just go back and forth good naturedly lol.

• Soda Popinski? Gentle giant 100% except in the ring, the man just wants to drink his soda (alSO his soda has a biit of vodka in it- )
