crumpled papers and empty pens ( kjh & kyr )
jiho finds it somewhat fair but at least, she’s definitely okay with her not doing too well in academics. she might be interested in a lot of things, but her memory is mostly that of a close-to-death goldfish, which certainly doesn’t help her succeed in classes. she’s also highly repelled by studying because it requires her to actually sit down on her ass and focus on one (usually super boring) thing at once for at least an hour thanks to her lacking brain capacity and that’s no fun at all. also practically impossible for such a proactive person like jiho.
but she finds it pretty damn unfair that someone who’s not only an order down but also two years younger, has double the knowledge she has. it’s not really a new thing – jiho and yeri took classes together for a few months when she enrolled and before jiho advanced to order two, and yeri’s always been really smart. she always admired her for it and after becoming friends, would often go to her for help or bribe her in favor of letting jiho copy her homework.
however, when jiho took a step upwards the ladder of knowledge, she wholeheartedly believed that now would be her chance to bypass yeri’s knowledge and show her that she’s capable too. and her plans couldn’t fail in a more miserable way; yeri didn’t only catch up to her knowledge despite still being in order one, but has surpassed, too.
so now, even though jiho is supposed to be smarter and yeri isn’t supposed to know anything about jiho’s classes (she doesn’t even take any of her classes, for god’s sake!), the familiar often finds herself tutored by the young witch because besides sojin, she’s the only one who actually succeeds in shoving some material into that leaking brain of hers.
“i can’t do this anymore!” jiho cries out, letting her head fall atop the desk in utter defeat. they’ve been at this for an hour now and has not managed to get any further, really, and it’s been sucking both her and yeri’s energy all this time. so naturally, it’s best if they just gave up and jiho just failed physics of magic. // @cvyeri
